I have flown with many airlines. But the airline is the worst company. The attitude towards clients is not just disregard, but like cattle. Starting from check-in for a flight, delayed departure, causing material damage, ignoring complaints and outright deception. If you dont want to have problems and ruin your trip and your nerves, avoid this airline.
This year we used LOT to fly from Azerbaijan to Canada for the first time. We flew from Baku to Warsaw ,April, 17,2023. Our seats were in Business class,but when we got on board ,we found out that there was zero difference between seats in Business and Economy class ( there wasn't even a curtain between the parts of that plane). But the price of tickets WAS different. The crew wasn't very effective either. It happened even, that after the meal service , business class passengers ' tables were cleaned AFTER economy class passengers. The flight attendant didn't pay much attention to his guests.
Biut, of course, the most disappointin was a tiny space between the seats. It was almost impossible to put legs straight, let alone, stretch them. Really, it was not business class, sorry. Our return flight was August,21,2023 and the plane was almost the same, maybe, slightly wider. But the crew on our back flight was perfect. We felt we were treated best. As for food--everything was perfect-the service and the taste--the highest levels on both flights.
So, the most disappointing point on both flights was an inappropriate small space in the Business class . It cannot cost as much as the company charges for this .
Our transatlantic flights from Warsaw to Toronto were completely different. The first thing--an incredible Dreamliner we traveled in. The second--our seats with flatbed options, which were,maybe, not so advanced in functions as they are in Turkish airlines,for instance, but very good, for sure. And the work of crew on April,17 (from Warsaw to Toronto) and on Aug, 20 ( from Toronto to Warsaw ) was absolutely PERFECT. WE would be delighted if Yacek Zeman,Izabella Wojcek and Ewa Puchta get some award for their attitude to their work, their professional qualities, friendliness and hospitality towards passengers. The crew helped me as a person having walking difficulties.
To sum up, our experience with LOT company was much more positive than not. The balance between quality of service and price of tickets is very good if we mean transatlantic flights ,but is unfair for European flights because of the planes.
